TELEFOTON is a game of Analogue Photographs by three distinct photographers Tim Heinze, Sandy Connell and Stanley Longman.
The game begins.
Player 1 has one week to pass an image
to Player 2 secretly.Player 2 has one week to pass a responding image
to Player 3 secretly.Player 3 has one week to pass a responding image
to Player 1 secretly.And we continue this cycle of secret responses
a total of twelve times until we have 36 images.End of game.

Synopsis
The book will collect 36 photos, selected as part of our game: TELEFOTON. The game follows the logic of a Chinese Whisper, but with photographs and thus draws from each of our photo archives to create a sequence of images that directly respond to each other, covering life, landscapes, street photography and experimental techniques.
In addition to the 36 photos that make up the entries in the game, the book will include supplemental photos, artist biographies and notes on our process.
TELEFOTON will be self-published, printed in a limited first run of 50 signed and numbered copies. And we need your help to raise the funds for printing.

More on the game
Like the Telephone game (a.k.a. Chinese Whispers), in which children whisper a message to each other, distorting the message as it goes down the line, TELEFOTON creates a sequence of photographs that evolves as each artist responds to the image passed to them by the previous player.
The only two rules are that each photo must be taken from the artist’s analogue archive (nothing is shot specially for the game) and that each photo must be a clear visual response to the previous one: a compliment, a riposte, a rhyme –– as long as the connection can be seen in the photograph.
Once the artist sends their image on, they accept that they no longer have
control over how it will be interpreted or what the response will be or what decisions that response will provoke as the cycle continues.
Furthermore, the continued sequence is kept secret until the next image comes along.
Until the very end of the game, each player only knows the images that have been sent to them and the images that they have sent down the line.
